a practice built on movement that meets your body where it is
my journey
yoga wasn’t something i was looking for. in many ways, it found me.
growing up, i was always someone who dove fully into the things i cared about. i loved acting. i loved dancing. later i fell in love with business and building things. if something mattered to me, i went all in.
but that same energy never really translated to the gym. i didn’t feel connected to it, and i didn’t feel like i understood what my body actually needed.
that changed when i walked into my first yoga class.
i had zero expectations, but i was hooked almost immediately. yoga challenged me in a completely different way. it slowed me down. it asked for patience, awareness, and curiosity. and instead of frustrating me, it fascinated me.
over time, yoga started to shift how i thought about movement and my relationship with my body. instead of focusing on how my body looked, i began appreciating what it could do. how strong it was. how capable it was.
that perspective is something i carry into every class.
i believe yoga should feel welcoming, not intimidating. your practice should look like your body, not someone else’s.
the goal isn’t forcing yourself into shapes or chasing the deepest version of a pose. the goal is understanding how the pose works for you. building strength, awareness, and respect for the body you’re in.
in many ways, the practice is simply learning to listen.
teaching philosophy
i teach a wide range of students, from beginners stepping onto the mat for the first time to upcoming teachers in training.
at the core of my teaching is one simple idea: yoga should feel accessible, not intimidating.
my classes focus on helping you understand your body from the inside out. we break things down in a way that actually makes sense. the small adjustments that create stability. how to build strength without forcing flexibility. how to move in a way that feels supportive instead of uncomfortable.
because yoga isn’t about getting your foot to your head and being hyper flexible. it’s about learning how to be in your body.
i teach in a variety of settings, from studio classes to private sessions, workshops, and teacher trainings. no matter the environment, my goal is always the same: to create a space where you feel comfortable exploring, asking questions, and learning without pressure.
every body is different, and your practice should reflect that.
whether you’re brand new, returning after time away, or looking to deepen your practice, my hope is that you leave feeling stronger, more aware, and more connected to yourself.
